Please Note: Having dealt with artists for more than 50 years, I am often asked to recommend to oil colors, acrylic color or watercolors, like which is best. Well, Fine artists always want to use the best! The best can be measured in many ways. The vibrancy/ intensity of the colors, the light fastness ratings, safety etc.
In oil colors, most artist that care about lightfastness, and pigment intensity, seem to seek out PERMALBA white and Permalba oil colors.
In acrylic colors, I myself liked Liquitex and Prima acrylic colors. I only used acrylic to avoid toxic chemicals, as I paint in a home studio. However, when I discovered and tested WOil, by Martin F. Weber Co, I dropped acrylics and went back to oils. WOil is completely non-toxic, like no other
And I love the way, these colors, work just like traditional oils  but without the smells, the solvents, and water clean up. With woil, if I am able to mix with my old acrylic inventory without any problem.
W oil, a brand of Weber, is just an incredible product.
Then in watercolor, I had been using Holbien for years, with 2-3 colors from Winsor, but WOW, I Discovered, Mission Gold Watercolors, by Mijello, the maker of my palettes. OMG, this watercolor has no compare, it has everything, pigment intensity,  I use half as much color, it disperses, like nothing else, fast and even. Superb Lightfastness, I can dry brush into it. I changed my entire palette to Mission Gold. For Thirty years, I was a creature of habit. ....Watercolorists, if you have not tried Mission Gold class watercolor, your not seeing your true potential.
In oil mediums, I go to Martin F. Weber as they have everything, gels, liquids, restoration traditional, modern, mediums, the most non- toxic oil mediums, and the safest toxic solvents, higher flash points, and higher and  safer PELs.
In acrylic mediums, U. S or Euro made, all the same. I do not buy Chinese, as you never know what you get. Also if you want non- toxic, look for the AP mark. Means that it has been 3rd patty tested. Do not believe any brand that says non-toxic without the AP mark.
    Happy Painting Always! - Sebastian
