You are bidding on a used, as-is vintage 1982 metal ET the Extra-Terrestrial lunchbox complete with thermos. Lunchbox by Aladdin Industry incorporated King-seeley Company. The box pictured is the exact one you will receive—the box 30+years old—and shows signs of that condition-wise; still has the original Thermos from Aladdin Thermos Co The box has been stored/ traveled all over there is wear on exterior (you will see in pics the rust spots ding bottom of box rusting mark discoloration straches on interior also)also on thermos is complete w topper and sip mouthpiece—the image/color ET art on thermos has worn off over the years. Overall this lunchbox has great eye and display appeal—have a look and see if it’s the one for your collection. Was part of my Dad’s collection of boxes he accumulated over 2 decades of buying; my hope is that it goes to somebody that will enjoy and appreciate it the way my pops did—my dad lived for these type of collectibles —he was a happy to find this in his hunts. My dad was a huge soda/advertisement collector (and everything else— it’s pretty safe to say he collected anything that he thought somebody would want buy, lol). He traveled all over the US to shows/conventions; he never saw a flea market or yard sale he wasn’t gonna at least stop at and look around for a few minutes. He spent much time up and down the East Coast- - and if you’ve been a collector in this long, there is a good chance you’ve met and/or possibly knew him. Dads grander plan was to open his own Collectibles shop and continue buying and selling all of his retirement years. He had one built that he lost in one of the big floods. He regrouped and started again. He finally had a new shop (the 2nd one) built, ready, and had almost filled it with collectibles. The doors never officially opened.

Dad unexpectedly passed away with his hopes and dreams never realized. Now all of what I call “Dad’s stuff” is really mine. I am (and have been stuck) in beginning stages of starting to sell items from this collection (I feel like doing so honors his legacy, monetarily it is a blessing to his wife// my mom and i feel he would want me to finish paying off my college debt from some of the money made).
