Item Description
Oil paints are paints made by kneading pigments with vegetable oils such as poppy oil and linseed oil. When this oil comes in contact with the air and oxidizes, the paint hardens. The reason why oil paintings do not dry immediately after drawing is that these chemical changes progress slowly. Unlike water-based paints, which evaporate water, the oil solidifies as it is, so oil paints remain thick even after drying.

There is no thinning of the screen and there is little color change
Since watercolor paints and acrylic paints contain water in themselves, it is inevitable that the screen will become thin due to the evaporation of water, and that the color (wet color → dry color) and gloss (change in surface unevenness) will change.
Oil paints are paints that do not lose weight on the screen and have little change in color or luster because the drying oil itself hardens.
