16 Antique Uncle Sam Stock Certificates
Description:
Presented for your consideration are these neat antique stock certificates. These stock certificates are from The Uncle Sam Oil Company. They are certificates for a certain amount of shares of the treasury stock of the company. There are 6 cream colored certificates and 10 blue colored certificates. The cream colored certificates are for numbers of shares above 1000 and the blue ones are below 1000 shares. All date to the early 1900s with dates ranging from 1909 to 1916. All of the certificates are dated and were issued to a J.B. Hudson. All of the certificates have a seal on the inside and 4 of them also have a red stamp on the left side edge. Nice depictions of Uncle Sam are on both sides of each certificate. These stock certificates are great pieces of oil advertising! Guaranteed to be old and original. Would look nice framed and displayed with your signs or oil memorabilia!
Typical light to mild wear is along the creases. Some light tearing is along the bottom edge of three of the certificates. Overall the lot is in GOOD-VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
