Pacific Brewing and Malting Tray c. 1900 RARE

Description

Pacific Brewing and Malting Company beer tray c. 1897-1916 and RARE.  This one evidently hung in a saloon for some time judging by the discoloration on the reverse, but the front side was much better cared for.  There are a few scratches around the rim on the front, in particular near the top and likely from a hanger, but nothing too objectionable.  There is, in the young ladies tresses, a spot of something that the finish did not agree with, but again, taking everything into consideration, it really doesn't detract that much from the overall appearance.  There are no dents and no bends and I hope my photos speak for themselves.  Pacific was the result of a merger between the Puget Sound Brewing Company and the Milwaukee Brewing Company and brewing began in 1897.  State wide prohibition brought and end to brewing in Tacoma, WA in 1916 however, forcing the brewery to move out of state.  The tray is 10" in diameter.  Thank you for your time and interest in this rare piece.
