DESCRIPTION & CONDITION
This auction is for a vintage, matted, Panamanian Mola embroidery in excellent condition. No sun fading, tears or soiling.
This Indigenous Kuna Indian
art piece depicting an animal figure which appears to have a head of a mule and a body of a monkey or something similar is just charming. There's also what appears to be a butterfly or smoke coming out of a pipe. You be the judge!
This is a great little matted vintage piece that I'm not sure of exact age, but looks to be at least 20 years old.  As is, it is ready to be framed and displayed. That said, the matte board is aged with signs of handling wear but very much intact.
This artwork is a great piece for the Mola embroidery folk art collector.
